Recipe: Farmers' Market Basil Pesto


Serving Size: 1 cup

Prep Time: 10 minutes

3 garlic cloves
1/3 cup pine nuts
2 cups fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
salt & black pepper to taste

Combine garlic and pine nuts in food processor. Pulse a few times. Add basil and pulse again. With food processor running, slowly add the olive oil. Scrape sides of processor and add parmesan, salt & pepper. Enjoy this pesto with pasta, pizza, wraps, sandwiches or alone as a dip or spread.
